About me

Hi, my name’s Jade and I’ve been practicing yoga for 8 years.

I began doing yoga as a way to help with my anxiety and I was hooked early on. It’s one of the few things that enables me to completely switch off and relax.

I am a mother and wife and I’m expecting my second baby to arrive in August. I understand the considerable demands of balancing work and family life, and aim to provide my students with a relaxing yoga class that enables them to have some well-earned 'me time'.

I have my own physical challenges and can work with people with a variety of fitness levels and health conditions. Practicing yoga has had an immeasurable positive effect on my life. Now, I want to help others reap the many benefits that yoga provides!

In order to do just that, I enlisted on Sandstone’s ‘200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course’ and completed the programme in 2019. The course provided me with:

  • The knowledge and skillset on how to plan creative yoga classes of varying styles for a range of abilities
  • Understanding of the human anatomy and physiology from both the Western and Eastern perspectives
  • Hours upon hours of teaching experience with a peer group and teachers

I have also undertaken the Pregnancy Yoga CPD course with Sandstone. This course was for already qualified yoga instructors looking to expand their expertise and modify lessons for pregnant women. I am now able to present a safe and healthy approach to pregnant yoga and am qualified to teach pregnant women both 1-2-1 and in groups.
